Built in Haydock, supplied across the Fylde

We are a trade fabricator, not an installer. Our workshop is in Haydock, a straight run up the M6 and across to the coast, so getting finished aluminium to a site in Lytham, St Annes or Ansdell is part of the normal week. You manage your own fit. We handle the specification, the fabrication and the supply, and you collect from Haydock or take delivery into the area.

The Fylde has a particular mix of work. Period villas off Clifton Drive, mansion flats along the front, newer high-spec builds set back from the green, and a steady run of premium commercial frontages through the town centres. The trade serving that work needs an aluminium partner who quotes accurately and builds to the figure on the drawing. That is what we do.

Coastal exposure handled properly

Open frontage on the Fylde means wind off the Irish Sea, driven rain and salt-laden air, and the spec has to answer for it. We treat weather performance as part of the quote rather than an afterthought. Where the elevation is exposed we route the job to a system that carries the weather ratings to suit, and we confirm the achievable air, water and wind figures per finished unit at quote.

Finishes matter just as much on the coast. Polyester powder coat to a marine-grade specification stands up to salt exposure far better than a standard finish, and we will talk you through the right coating and any maintenance expectations for a seafront elevation before the order is placed. Get the finish right at order stage and the units stay looking right for the long term.

  • Weather exposure ratings for air, water and wind, confirmed per unit at quote
  • Marine-grade powder coat finishes for salt-exposed coastal elevations
  • PAS 24 security routes and BS EN 14351-1 where the project calls for it
  • Thermally broken aluminium throughout, low U-values where specified

The range the Fylde trade asks for

High-value coastal homes lean on big glass, slim sightlines and a sea view, which is why most of what we supply into the area is the glazing-led range. Bifolds and sliders open a rear elevation to the garden or the front to the prom, casement and tilt-and-turn windows hold the heat in on an exposed plot, and the commercial side covers the shopfronts and frontages through Lytham and St Annes town centres.

Glazing runs from 22mm to 58mm so we can carry the heavier acoustic and solar units a coastal or roadside elevation often needs, with acoustic performance to Rw 46 dB where specified. Tell us the opening and the performance target and we will quote the right route.

How we work with the trade

Open a trade account and the process is the same every time. Send us the drawings and sizes, we check the route, flag anything the elevation needs and come back with a quote and lead time confirmed for that project. There are no guessed prices and no off-the-shelf timescales, just figures we can stand behind. Pricing and lead times are confirmed per project at quote.

We are a CAB member, and we support UKCA marking and Declaration of Performance where a job needs the paperwork in order. If you want to see how a route is specified before you commit, our technical detail is set out in the trade guides, including the rundown on aluminium U-values.

Homeowners on the Fylde

We supply the trade, so we do not sell or fit directly to homeowners. If you own a property in Lytham, St Annes or Ansdell and want VitrineAlu aluminium installed, we will point you to a vetted installer working in your area through our find an installer route. You get our fabrication, fitted by someone who knows the local stock and the coastal conditions.

Common questions

Where is VitrineAlu based and do you deliver to Lytham St Annes?

We fabricate in Haydock, St Helens, Merseyside. Lytham St Annes, St Annes, Ansdell and the wider Fylde are firmly inside our supply area, so you can collect finished units from Haydock or take delivery into the area. Delivery is arranged per order.

Do you install aluminium on the Fylde coast?

No. VitrineAlu is a trade fabricator and supplier only. We build the units and supply installers, builders and contractors who manage their own fit. Homeowners are referred to a vetted local installer through our find an installer route.

How do you handle coastal weather exposure?

We route exposed seafront elevations to a system that carries the weather ratings to suit, and confirm the achievable air, water and wind figures per finished unit at quote. We also specify marine-grade powder coat finishes to stand up to salt-laden coastal air.

How do I open a trade account?

Apply through our trade account page. Once you are set up, send drawings and sizes and we will specify the route, quote and confirm a lead time for that project. Pricing and lead times are confirmed per project at quote.

What aluminium products do you supply into the area?

Bifold doors, sliding and patio doors, casement and tilt-and-turn windows, entrance doors, steel-look internal screens, commercial doors, shopfronts, curtain walling, roof lanterns and heritage routes. Tell us the opening and the performance target and we will quote the right system.

Proof, not promises

Specified and made by people who have fitted it

Paul Fradley, Director and Technical Lead, has worked almost every role in windows and doors across more than twenty years: surveyed, fabricated on the floor, fitted on site, then ran the technical and operations side. He leads the spec on every project, so what we quote is what we fabricate.
