How VitrineAlu handles enquiries, targeted business introductions, opt-outs, optional website measurement and installer referrals.
What we collect
Website forms may collect name, email, phone, company, project area, selected product/opening, enquiry type, project details, consent records, installer-referral area notes and the page or campaign source.
Optional website measurement
Optional site analytics and marketing measurement are off unless you choose them. If an approved measurement service is configured and you enable its category, it may measure aggregated visit, site-performance, conversion or advertising activity. Your choice does not affect access to the website. We save the choice in your browser only after you make it, so it can be honoured on later visits; use Analytics preferences in the footer to change it. If your browser requests Do Not Track, optional measurement remains off while that setting is active.
Why we use it
We use enquiry data to respond to trade quotes, account applications, product questions and referral requests. The lawful basis is usually steps requested before a contract, legitimate interests in running a trade supply business, consent where a referral share is requested, and legal obligation where records must be retained.
Targeted business introductions
We may send a limited, relevant introduction to a publicly listed business address where the organisation appears to install or specify fenestration and could reasonably benefit from a trade-fabrication supplier. These messages are intended for corporate subscribers and business activity, not consumers. We identify VitrineAlu, explain why the address was selected and provide an immediate unsubscribe route in every message.
Lawful basis for business outreach
Where a business address identifies a person, we rely on legitimate interests to make a proportionate, targeted corporate introduction and to keep the evidence needed to operate it safely. Before contact we balance our commercial interest against the recipient’s privacy, limit the data to relevant public business information, check suppression records and exclude addresses that are not suitable for this route.
Marketing email measurement
Our cold first-touch emails carry a small counting image, and their links pass through our own redirect at track.vitrinealu.co.uk before they reach this website. Together these tell us whether an email was opened and which parts of the range were clicked. The counting image is tied to the address we sent it to, by a short code that stands for it. The links are the same for every recipient, so they tell us which link was used, not who used it. We do not store your address on that server: the link and the image carry a short code that stands for it, so the address itself is never in the URL or in the server's records. The redirect records the click before this website is involved, so it happens whether or not you accept optional website analytics here. If you then choose optional website analytics, we may also measure aggregated landing and conversion activity under the website choice described above. The one-click unsubscribe link is individually signed so we can honour the correct address without exposing it in the link. If you would rather none of this happened, use that link and we will stop.
Outreach retention and suppression
We review prospecting records regularly and normally remove a non-responsive outreach record within 24 months of the last relevant activity. If you object or unsubscribe, we retain only the minimum suppression information needed to prevent future marketing to that address. A suppression record is not used to market to you.
Your absolute right to object to direct marketing
You can object to direct marketing at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in the message or email info@vitrinealu.co.uk with “unsubscribe”. We will stop direct marketing to that address and add it to our suppression list. This right is separate from, and in addition to, your other data-protection rights.
Installer referrals
VitrineAlu is trade-only and does not sell or install direct to homeowners. Referral requests are reviewed by VitrineAlu before any handoff, and details are not automatically sent to raw prospect firms. If a request is shared with an installer, that installer is a separate controller for its own quotation, contract and warranty.
Processors and transfer basis
Website contacts may be stored in Wix Contacts. Wix acts as a service provider/processor for those contact records and may process data outside the UK/EEA, including the United States, using its data processing terms and transfer safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
Retention
Unsuccessful website enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months. Trade account and quotation records may be retained for the life of the account and up to 6 years where needed for contract, tax, warranty, dispute or legal records. Spam/security signals are kept only as long as needed to protect the service.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to processing. You can withdraw consent for referral sharing at any time, without affecting earlier lawful handling. Direct-marketing objections are handled as described above. You can also complain to the ICO.
Accuracy
Published specifications are product-selection guidance. Final sizes, compliance route and project suitability must be confirmed before fabrication.
