Homeowners
Love the look? We hand you to a local installer.
VitrineAlu sells to the trade only. Seen the aluminium look you want at home? Tell us the project and postcode and we pass your details to one vetted installer in our network, local to you. They quote, fit and finish; you get the light.
Fabricated in Haydock, St HelensTrade-only supply from our own workshop.
What vetted actually meansRegistered with a competent person scheme (FENSA, Certass or equivalent) and carrying public and employer liability insurance. We check both.
One installer, not sharedYour details go to a single installer, not resold as a shared lead.
How it works
Three steps, one installer
- Tell us the project type and a postcode.
- We check the product fits and who covers your area, then pass your details to one installer near you.
- They survey, quote and fit. The contract is with them.
Before you commit
Four things worth asking any installer
- Which competent person scheme are you registered with? FENSA, Certass or an equivalent. It is how the work gets self-certified for building control, and it is a number you can check.
- Are you insured, and for what? Public liability, and employer liability if anyone works for them.
- What U-value am I actually getting? For your opening, at your size, in your configuration. Not the headline figure from a brochure. See how aluminium U-values work.
- Does this opening need PAS 24? Security requirements depend on the project and where the opening is. Ask early rather than at fitting.
Common questions
What homeowners ask us
Can I buy windows and doors direct from VitrineAlu?
No. We supply the trade only and we do not install, so there is no direct-to-homeowner price. What we can do is put you in front of one installer near you who fits our aluminium.
How many installers will contact me?
One. Your details go to a single installer whose coverage and product fit we have checked, and they are never resold as a shared lead. We email you their name, so you know who to expect.
What does vetted actually mean?
Registered with a competent person scheme (FENSA, Certass or equivalent) and carrying public and employer liability insurance. We check both. It is not a review score or a directory listing.
Who am I contracting with, and who holds the guarantee?
The installer. They survey, quote, fit and finish, so your contract and your guarantee are with them, not with us. VitrineAlu makes the aluminium that goes in.
Does it cost anything to ask?
No. Tell us the project type and a postcode and that is enough to start. You do not need a full address, drawings or a decision.
Why we sell through installers
A window or door is only as good as the fit. We supply through trade professionals and let installers do what they do best, rather than selling to the public and leaving the hardest part to chance. Any technical requirement is confirmed for the selected project, not assumed from a generic web page. Bring light into living, fitted properly.
